ON THE SIDE LINE

Line On The Side, is a creative collaboration of two designers and artists Kate Banazi and Joanna Fowles. Also known as L.O.T.S these wonderful linen wizards (or technically witches!) weave the magic into a hand dyed range of beautiful cushions, throws and kimonos.
Both designers come from graphic design industries which specializing in textile design. The hand dyed rich neutral colours create a dramatic design, which somehow doesn’t overpower the cushions and throws to certain styling niche. Instead they create cheeky neutral colour ways which fit into any space make these highly trans decorative (new word for the dictionary). Their combined knowledge of the mediums they work enhances the natural beauties of the dies and fabrics, and the answer as to why they effortless create stunning designs.
Bed linen is always underappreciated in a bedroom. I am perplexed as to why as your bed is the hub of where you want to relax and sleep. It should always match your personality, be of the highest natural fiber, and thread count and always be fresh (so have at least two sets!). You spend most of your life in a bed sleeping (or awake, wink wink nudge nudge). So spend a little and get your comfy on.

Always had had a hidden fetish for Country Road. Simplistic designs make each of there item always perfectly executed and easy to place in the home. The combination of timber, gun mental greys with the playful pop of red has sent my fingers itching to re decorate. Creative director Sophie Holt has re evaluated the relax Australian style under the influence of Scandinavian design elements.

Last week my little creative fingers accepted a challenged intriguingly set out by the lovely Miss Jen Bishop from Interiors addict. The cult blog has captured the hearts and intagrams of many interior stylist, design stalkers and lovers of all thinks that pretty, perfect and peculiar. Through her simplicity of the hash tag, #7vignettes she has built a community to share the stunning little treasures and trinkets. Through-out the 7 days collections bizarre and mundane items flood the Instagram feed inspiring one another that everything has a beautiful spot somewhere wondrous. Taking on the challenge in the theme of my creative challenge (which is almost at the half way point!) I found a new inspiring view on the things that are underappreciated in common view.
So I must thank this lady for a challenge which ended up inspiring a mind!
